The Main Boma

The lodge also has a main boma (Place of Fire), where on occasion, guests dine under the stars alongside the river where at night whilst eating dinner or having a drink around the fire the atmosphere is echoed by owls calling and hippos grunting and snorting. The Boma also has a fully stocked bar where guests can be served from. A second fireplace it situated close to the communal area so that guests can sit around the fire in winter, warming their hands, while waiting to start the day’s fishing.

The Communal Area

Admire the tranquility of the Zambezi River

The communal area has soft comfy wicker couches where guest’s can sit and read a book, tie a fly or even just laze around admiring the tranquility of the Zambezi River and the beautiful bird calls that erupt from the tall trees around the camp. The main bar is situated in the communal area where guests can simply relax and be served by one of very pleasant Sekoma waitresses.
